1. My soul is not made for hustle.  I blogged about this a few weeks ago and explained my mantra for dealing with the hustle when it can’t be avoided.
  2. I like books written from different points of view.  In A Sweethaven Summer, my August #Collaboreads pick, each chapter was from a different character’s perspective.  Other books I’ve loved that were written this way:  Gone Girl and The Girl on the Train. What I Learned, August
  3. Weeds can take over your life. Literally.  After weeks of being on the run, I stepped outside and noticed, for the first time, these weeds.  I asked Justin if he had noticed them and he said he had, he just thought I didn’t care.  What?!?What I Learned, August
  4. Babies are the best blogging partners ever.
  5. Not all English words or phrases have a Spanish translation.  Since I started with Rosetta Stone, I’ve enlisted the help of a few Spanish-speaking moms to practice with.  One day, I needed to use the English phrase, “Let me know how it goes.”  There is no actual translation for that.  I’m still confused as to what I would need to say if I needed to remind someone to keep me updated of something.

As always, I’m linking with Emily over at Chatting at the Sky.
