floor and decor store tourWe are nearing the point in our house-building process where we are installing things–flooring, wall tile, cabinets.  After finding tons to love on the Floor & Decor website, I reached out to them about a blog partnership and they agreed!!  They invited me up for a full Floor & Decor store tour and I was, quite literally, floored (pun intended!).  We found every single thing we needed….. and more.

Floor & Decor has over 60 stores across the United States.  They carry hundreds of different flooring options–ceramic, porcelain, travertine, marble, hardwood, bamboo, and laminate.  They also carry a wide variety of back-splash materials, sinks, tools, and counter-tops.  All your flooring and decor’ing needs (<–I’m on a roll today, y’all!).

The Tour.

When Justin and I arrived for our Floor & Decor store tour, we were greeted by the store manager and the design team specialist.  Floor & Decor has in-store designers who will work with you on any project, for free.  Our designer, Theresa, was a huge help when it came to picking out tile and designing our master bath, which is the project we are partnering on.

If you are anything like me and struggle with visualizing things, Floor & Decor is the store for you.  Throughout the store, there are displays of miniature rooms to help you see what different flooring/tiles/grouts look like together.

Theresa sat down with us and went over our measurements and vision.  She walked around the store with us and pulled items that she felt matched the vision I had.  We spent the morning making different arrangements of floor tile and wall tile and pencils and decorative pieces.  It was so much fun and I was able to see the project even better.

Theresa pulled out these tiny pieces of grout samples so that I could select our grout color easier.  Being able to see the actual grout with our tile choice made me so much more confident in my decision!

As we were walking out, I spotted this clearance tile and fell in love!  I knew it would look just fantastic in our laundry room in a herringbone pattern.  And do you see that price tag?  That’s 88 cents per square foot… not bad Floor & Decor, not bad.

I can’t wait to share our master bathroom project with you, but in the meantime, if you have any of your own projects going on, I suggest a visit to Floor & Decor.
