Happy Friday!! We are Atlanta-bound for some fun at the Country Living fair and to rock out at the Taylor Swift concert. Fun times ahead, y’all. {And lots of girly screams, but whatev’s.}

Five things I’m loving right now:

  1. Periscope. It’s an app and it is a-maz-ing. I haven’t gotten up the courage to scope much myself (I’m sooo ADD and I know I’m going to get sidetracked by all the conversation/joining notifications popping up) but I watch other people’s scopes all the time. It’s the best app since instagram. You can find me at @CourtneyHWest.
  2. This post by Lori, shared on Joy’s blog. While you’re there, look around a bit. Joy is participating in #write31days on the Art of Neighboring.
  3. This fall capsule wardrobe. I am very interested in the whole “capsule wardrobe” idea. My closet is pitiful–stuffed to the brim with clothes I don’t even wear. I would love to donate everything in there and create my own capsule wardrobe. Have you done this? Any tips?
  4. Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert. I am halfway through this book and it is already one of my favorites. Elizabeth is all about living life to the fullest and how you can make that happen. It is a must-read.
  5. Love Flash Mob. I don’t even have the words to tell you how wonderful this is. In 24 hours, Glennon’s people, our people, raised $475,141 for a maternity home in Haiti and relief efforts in Germany. I. Can’t. Even. This. This is the good in the world. When we get wrapped up in the brokenness and hurt evident in the news, let us remember that there is good in the world and we are a part of that good.

PS: I’ve been working on a really special post for next week that I can’t wait to share! It’s taking a lot of work/research, but there is a giveaway involved!
