Last Saturday, we celebrated Jase’s second birthday.  It was a simple celebration, held at Gra-Gra’s house since our house is currently under construction.  Rather than a huge event with all our friends and family, we opted for a small gathering with just Jase’s grandparents and great-grandparents.

Jayden was there, as well as Kyndall’s friend Reagan, who was going to church with us the next day.

Jase was so stinking excited about his tractor cake. That’s all he asked for before his party, and he has been telling everyone about it since then!  He very obviously enjoyed eating his cake and ended up consuming two HUGE pieces.

Most of our family gifted Jase with money to put towards a swingset for the new house.  (Our old one was demolished in some recent storms!)  He did have a few gifts to open, and he tore into those with glee.  Among his gifts were a collectible John Deere tractor, some clothes, a pop-gun, and a toy machine gun.

After gifts, we all sat around and swapped stories about this funny little guy.  He has filled our lives with so much joy in the short time that he has been here.  His personality is so BIG and he keeps us laughing all the time.
