I hosted a “Favorite Things” party at my house last night. (If you have’t heard of them, check pinterest or google it–you’ll find tons of posts and pictures.) The guest of honor was my friend Carrie, who is one of the strongest and bravest women I know. We were celebrating her 1 year victory over cancer!

- “Friends” picture frame–from someone who loves people, pictures, and memories
- Paper plates, cups and forks set- from someone who despises doing the dishes
- Plastic container with inspirational saying stickers inside- from someone who loves organizing and scrapbooking
- Votive candle set–from someone who enjoys setting the mood with candles, whether that mood be relaxing or romancing 🙂
- Anthropologie bowls and Pioneer Woman salsa- enough said.
- Bath and Body Works lotion
- Elf eyeliner and a Starbucks gift card
- Meyers all-natural cleaning spray
- Leopard scarf and gloves set–from the lady who loves fashion and informed us that leopard is the new neutral
- Bath and Body works scented plug-ins–from someone who loves for her home to smell nice
We had so much fun! There was food, laughter, a few tears–the perfect evening with friends. This was our first favorite things attempt, but I hope this becomes a yearly tradition for us. And I can’t wait to celebrate more years of Carrie being cancer free.
