PodcastsApparently, 2016 has been declared “the year of the podcast”.  For the last year or so, I have been among the world of podcast-listeners.  I have a small rotation of podcasts that download automatically to my phone.  I listen while I’m getting ready in the mornings, cleaning house, and cooking.  It’s so easy and I feel like it’s a great way to feed my brain and my soul.  And I have three to share with you that I think you will love.

Podcasts1

The Happy Hour with Jamie Ivey.  I have been a long-time reader of Jamie’s blog and have followed the story of her adoption.  During The Happy Hour, Jamie and a guest discuss everything from family to books to faith to friendships.  It’s just like sitting around the table with your own girlfriends.  And no matter the topic or the guest, I can guarantee that you’ll finish the podcast encouraged and uplifted and ready to take on the world.

Podcasts2Happier with Gretchen Rubin.  Gretchen inspired me to consider my own Happiness Project after reading her book, The Happiness Project (<-affiliate link).  Gretchen and her sister, Elizabeth Craft, spend their podcast time sharing real-life advice on good habits and happiness.

Podcasts3Magic Lessons with Elizabeth Gilbert.  I’ve shared this before a time or two, but I ADORED Gilbert’s book, Big Magic (<-affiliate link).  Gilbert encourages people to encourage their creativity and passions, whatever they may be.  Her guests offer expert advice and inspiration.
