iTunes Tells All
I am a great starter-of-things, but I’m not so good with follow-through.  So when I saw Brandy’s #Blogtember challenge, I thought it looked like fun but I knew there was no way I could commit to blogging every day.  But then I saw a few of the topics that I wanted to cover, so I thought I’d jump in half-heartedly.  As in, I’ll blog on the topics I have something to say about.  I’m a rebel like that 🙂

And if you know me, you know I have a lot to say about music.  I also have a very random taste in music–from Audrey Assad to Colbie Callet to Brantley Gilbert to Eminem to Hinder to Dre.  Every genre, every style.  A great tragedy of my life is that God did not bless me with the ability to sing.

The prompt for this was to set your iPod on shuffle and share the first 10 songs that play.  I cheated a little, because 4 of my first 10 were from the girls’ collection of Frozen soundtrack songs.  Those were the only ones I skipped, cross my heart.  No other super embarrassing songs were removed from this list.iTunes Tells All

  1.  One Hell of an Amen by Brantley Gilbert.
  2. What do I Know of Holy? by Addison Road.
  3. Thing For You by Hinder.
  4. Thinking of You (And Me) by Love and Theft.
  5. Can’t Let You Go by Fabolous.  (Taking it back to the high school days with this one!)
  6. Time To Be Your 21 by Alexz Johnson.
  7. Love the Way You Lie by Eminem and Rhianna.
  8. I Got the Boy by Jana Kramer.
  9. Him or You by Colbie Caillat.
  10. This is Amazing Grace by Sarah Reeves.

And then, just for kicks, I did it again.  Here’s round two:

  1. Take Your Time by Sam Hunt
  2. S & M by Rihanna.  (Oops.)
  3. The Monster by Eminem and Rihanna.
  4. Wine After Whiskey by Carrie Underwood.
  5. Love is War by American Young.
  6. Like A Wrecking Ball by Eric Church and the Outsiders.
  7. Trying Not To Love You by Nickelback.
  8. Only God Could Love You More by Jerrod Niemann.
  9. A Guy Walks Into A Bar by Tyler Farr.
  10. I Want To Be Free by Ellie Holcomb.

I knew my taste in music was extremely varied, but I didn’t realize how varied until I made this list.  Ha!  And also, I go from chill music (Sarah Reeves and Colbie Caillat) to rage (Eminem and Rihanna) interchangeably.  What’s that about?

Anyways, now it’s your turn–set your iPod on shuffle and tell me the first three (or more!) songs that pop up!
