IMG_5561I love doing these occasional interview with the girls. It’s always so interesting to see what answers they are going to come up with. I’ve been interviewing them on their birthdays for several years now but when I saw a recent post over at Taz and Belly, I thought it would be fun to ask them some questions about me. Here goes:

What is something I always say to you?
K:  I love you.
L:  Go do your homework.

I promise I tell Libby I love her just as much as I tell Kyndall.  It’s just that, right before this interview, I had to remind Libby five whole times to JUST DO HER HOMEWORK, already!

What makes me happy?
K:  Coffee.
L:  Reading.

Both of these things are very true.

How do I make you laugh?
K:  Tickle me.
L:  Tickling me.

Apparently, I’m the tickle monster.

How old am I?
K:  30.
L:  30.  Almost 31.

Both correct.

What is my favorite thing to do?
K:  Read.
L:  Teach kids how to read.

This made me laugh.  I do really enjoy reading, but I don’t know that I would say it’s my favorite thing to do.  And teaching kids to read is rewarding, but it isn’t really what I do nor is it my favorite.

What do I do when you aren’t around?
K:  Watch Netflix.
L:  Watch Blacklist.

Can you tell we’ve been watching a lot of Blacklist lately?

What am I really good at?
K:  Cursive handwriting.
L:  Reading.

What am I not very good at?
K:  Whistling.
L:  Lifting weights.

Both of these are spot-on.  I can’t whistle to save my life and I’m embarrassingly wimpy.

What do I do for a job?
K:  A librarian:  you teach kids how to read.
L:  Keep me safe.

Keeping Libby safe IS a full-time job 🙂

What is my favorite food?
K:  Taco salad.
L:  Broccoli.

Taco Salad, yes.  Broccoli, no.  I eat it because it’s healthy but it is most definitely no where on the list of my favorite foods.

What do you enjoy doing with me?
K:  Watching a family movie.
L:  Tickling you until you throw up.

What is one thing you wish I would do differently?
K:  Let me get a phone.
L:  Let me have more spend the night parties.

Y’all, we laughed so hard during these questions.  Hearing their opinions about me is pretty funny, but also eye-opening.  They definitely pay attention to everything I do or say, even when I think they aren’t.
