Our family has always put a high priority on traveling. I am a firm believer in the motto: Always take the trip. In my opinion, the memories made on a vacation far outweigh the work that goes into earning the money and planning the details of the trip. In the last few years, our family has visited several destinations. From Puerto Rico to Hilton Head Island to 30A to Colorado, we’ve spent lots of time on the road or in an airport. Most recently, we took a quick girls trip to explore St. Augustine, Florida. I can’t wait to share all the fun tips and details about that trip soon.
Since our family does so much traveling, I keep a running list of what I consider to be “travel essentials.” I am constantly looking for things to make our travel-filled lifestyle more convenient.
Travel Essentials
- A good set of rolling luggage. It is very rare that we need a large suitcase, but one good medium-sized piece is a MUST.
- A bathroom bag. I love the adidas All Me 2 tote for my bathroom necessities. It has plenty of room for all my go-to items, and it also has a strap on the back to hook to my suitcase handle.
- Comfortable shoes of all types. I love my adidas slides to wear to the pool or beach, or just around the hotel room. Adidas is famous for their workout shoes that are the perfect accessory to any outfit.
- Comfortable but stylish outfits. Adidas has the cutest athletic outfits that make long days of traveling a little bit easier. I love the athletic dresses and skirts that come with built in shorts.
- A cute and comfortable pullover is another travel essential. Airports and restaurants are always kept at a colder temperature than I prefer, so I like keeping layers on hand.
