WhatILearnedNovemberIt’s that time again.  Time to sit down and talk about what I’ve learned in the past month.  I told you before about how I completely missed October.  You’ll be happy to know that I did much better this month.  And as always, I’ll be linking up with Emily P. Freeman.

Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you.  -Anne Lamott.  We all have our limits and once we reach capacity, we have to recharge.  Personally, I’m thinking January is a great time to unplug!

Put your shoes on. This post from Jess Connolly was eye opening for me. “It’s not about being cute or faking it till you make it, it’s about being fitted with feet that are ready to do the work God has called you to.” Whether your shoes are heels, cute flats, or plain old tennis shoes–put them on and get to working for God’s glory.

ISIS (or cancer or a predator or fires) is not my real enemy.  Satan is my real enemy.

Five Attitudes of A Well-Watered Woman.  “When a tree has a good root system, it reaches down and draws moisture and nutrients from an unseen source.  No matter what is going on above ground, the tree doesn’t live by those events….. it thrives on what is under the ground, hidden.  Likewise, a well watered woman lives from her roots.”

Show me your friends and I’ll show you your future.  I heard this recently from Pastor Chris Hodges.  Apparently, the saying has been around a while but I have never heard it.  It rings so true to me.  I have the best tribe and I am so very thankful for them!  They lift me up and make me better in every possible way.

How about you?  What did you learn last month?
